Hey guys

So some of you may have seen I have been spending a lot of time at Mixmaster’s Studios in the Adelaide Hills the last couple months working on a new record for release in 2016. I am really excited to tell you its done, and I am honestly not quite sure how to describe how I feel.

Working with a producer such as Mick Wordley on this collection of songs has been an experience I will never forget, its honestly like he is connected to this place in some inconceivable way. He is the very core of this bunker of noise and tape and I’ve only just started to grasp his boundless creativity.

More integral than any piece of gear, no matter how retro, new and fancy, expensive or “industry standard” what happens in here is outside of anything you can measure. Making music is about people creating something together that we could never achieve in the same way by ourselves nor with a different group of musicians involved. I am so grateful to have had the chance to make this with my incredible team. Rich, Beej, Steve & Julian, honestly I cant thank you enough.

The best part of the whole thing is now we get to share it with you.

We have a brand new album in the can. 12 new songs that I am honestly so proud to call ours. To celebrate there is going to be a little show on Thursday March 10th at The Grace Emily Hotel. The Grace is the very first venue I booked to play my own music in alone 5 years ago, it hold a special place in my heart and your all invited. Ill be playing songs from the new album in an “Unplugged” intimate acoustic show which will be my only show before the the band and I release the album and begin to tour of Australia, UK, Europe and the U.S. in a few months.

There will be some very special guests along for the night and I honestly can’t wait to share this with you.

Thank you everyone who has supported me over the years and allowed me to keep on creating music. Album number three…I cant wait to hear what you think.
