We are all super exited to share with you the official video for 'Slainte'FULL VIDEO ON FACEBOOK @sambrittainofficial Its been a wonderful few months busking in Dublin, telling the story of this song and how we came to be playing music in the streets of this wonderful town. It seemed more than fitting to finish up my time here with a a video for the song and story that's kept me coming back the past few years. For me its always been about the people this city attracts, whether born and raised here or from the other side of the planet. The strange weird and wonderful encounters with the complete strangers you meet either whilst busking on the street or over a pint of Guinness and the stories they have to tell and diverse and passionate. After a very long first week busking here in 2014 I walked into a little pub and met a man called Jim searching for answers in the bottom of his beer glass. He'd had a rough time of late, having his wife of many years sadly pass away and even tougher he had just come from his youngest sisters funeral on the day we met. The overwhelming sentiment I took away from his story of love, loss and heartbreak was to not waste a second sitting around waiting for the opportune time to take a risk, make a change, travel the world or go after your dreams; no matter how unattainable they may seem at the onset. The hardest part is starting, the greatest regret is never trying… Please like, share and spread around far and wide. It makes all the difference in the world, I know I say this every time but I really appreciate it so much and I cant do it without all your support.
